Looking for a technique on how to induce astral projection

Been stuck on my ascension process step of astral projection for more than 12 months now -_- i always have spontaneous bursts of desire from either my higher self or wherever to astral project so that I may expand/ascend my awareness... however...... I can't seem to leave my body... :S ? =/ but i've found some isochronic tones that'll induce a lucid dream however I can't seem to find any techniques listed anywhere on how to induce an astral projection from a lucid dream. Now, this should be effortless, once I get out I can just chant a high vibe mantra and either meet ma higher self in the 5D (or wherever I am) or just mneditate there. Get my consciousness ready for the evolution and what not. if anyone has done anything like this and/or knows how to get out from a lucid dream please fill me in.

Also anyone got any cool places I should visit in the astral in case tonight is a successful venture? (You have to tell me how to get there, I only think i'll get to the 5D by chanting baju which apparently coincides, though i've heard of intending yet I have no idea how this works.)

While meditating recently, I sensed the presence of some creepy shadow entities pressing up against me and it freaked me out so bad I immediately snapped back into 3-D. It's like they were right there waiting for me. It's weird because right now in my present state of mind, I don't feel afraid of them at all. I feel like if I saw one right now, I'd just tell it to buzz off or show it some compassion like you suggested. But when I'm in a meditative state, I guess I feel more vulnerable or something, so I get that immediate reflexive fight-or-flight adrenaline response and it always snaps me back into 3-D. The same thing happens when I hear a creepy "astral sound." It sends a chill of down my spine and jolts me out of the meditative state.

I guess it just takes some getting used to. Just dip your toe in at first and do that as many times as it takes to deal with the fear. But it's not just the bad entities either. Peeking behind the veil is so shocking in itself, I get a shot of adrenaline just from that. I've always yearned for more in life. It's never felt right to me that we should be limited to our crappy 3-D existence. But then when I get a taste of something beyond it, I freak out! I guess it's such a huge emotional thing for me, I've built up so much energy behind it and that makes me go into shock. I'm concerned that my initial shock and fear reactions have traumatized my mind in some unconscious way where I'm now getting blocked from accessing other realms. You know what I mean?

I'm still a beginner at this, too. I've had a few spontaneous projections that didn't last very long. The key for me seems to be my baseline vibrational state just prior to doing the exercises. If you're at home and get that light floaty feeling or any other kind of feeling like you're energy is being affected, try to get to a dark, quiet room ASAP and start the exercises (but don't rush it or try too hard. relaxation is the key). We're getting energy blasts from the sun and galactic core regularly now and if you pay attention, you can tell when you just received one. That's the best time to try these techniques, if you're a beginner.
