Is 3D Suffering A Choice?

This has been one of the biggest questions in my mind since I started learning about the reality beyond 3D. One the one hand, you have those who say that our circumstances in life are all part of a divine plan that we ourselves created prior to our incarnation. That the suffering (or joy) in our lives is intended to teach us lessons and pay off or receive payment for karmic debts from past lives. This is where soul contracts come into play and where everything in your life is scripted and planned ahead of time to assist your soul's development, depending on your current level of spiritual evolution.

I've always had a difficult time with this idea because I find it really hard to believe that someone would choose prior to their incarnation to, for instance, be the victim of child abuse. Actually, the hardest part of that idea for me is that it means that someone would have to choose to be the abuser as well and be seemingly powerless to stop it, otherwise violating their soul contract. This just doesn't sit right with me, although the explanation is always that these things work on level that we are simply incapable of understanding with our 3D consciousness. The whole concept actually makes me very depressed because it basically says that we're all just playing a ridiculous, often times downright sick, game here unbeknownst to our 3D minds. I feel like if this was true, it would be like being the character in Grand Theft Auto and suddenly realizing you're just this stupid little game character being controlled by a big, scary superior being outside the game who is actually your higher self (what a mind trip!) and subjecting you to all sorts of fucked up shit like being chased, shooting people and running over hookers with cars, etc. Sure, once you realize you're actually the higher self game player and that the GTA character never really existed at all, it's quite a relief, but that transitional moment of realization must be the most traumatic thing imaginable!

Then you have the other position where people say that our reality has been lorded over by negative dark beings who are responsible for all the suffering in the world. That at some point our own choice in the creation of our reality was taken from us and we've become lost in a game controlled by outside malevolent forces. Like some big bully burst into your gaming room, punched you in the stomach and took your game controllers from you. They seem to be saying that these dark forces were actually willingly employed by us in the original creation of this reality to play the roles of the "bad guys" but they broke their contracts and continued to control the game beyond the point from which they were originally given permission.

So if that's the case, then who's really in power at this point? How about people who have died and reincarnated since the dark's contract was broken? Were they forced back into this 3D reality or did they voluntarily go back in knowing the game was now rigged for their suffering? I still don't get how this (theoretically) works. People seem to be saying completely opposite things. They say you're responsible for creating your own reality but then they say dark forces have taken control and must be stopped. Can someone please explain this to me in a way that includes both of these opposing ideas? How much are we "doing this to ourselves" and how much is it being done to us by "the dark." But then, according to non-duality which is apparently the true state of being outside of this artificial 3D construct, we are all one, so we ARE the dark and we ARE ultimately still doing it to ourselves.

My stupid, limited little 3D head hurts now so I have to bring this to a close. I'll go run over a few hookers to refresh myself and await your responses.

Comment by geonic on September 4, 2012 at 5:53am: yea. . is heavy stuff, I know. . he does explain how to remain your own soul after you "leave" this place. . forget which video it is. . he goes into massive depth in other videos about alot of other related things. . some of which are opposite to the downer vibe you saw their. . in that he has some amazingly uplifting videos, that will also clarify things that are "way out their" for perhaps most. . I will not speak about how I feel about the author. . but felt it may be helpful. . find some of his more positive stuff, it really turns everything around +1. . I am not aware of the motivation still yet myself. . strangely I have been getting this feeling that we ourselfs may have this information within us as well. . like a map. . as we are all. . well. . ahem. . ;) yea.

However, the Divine is very very efficient and will gladly help those seeking help or a way to improve their lives and the lives of others by giving them guidence. All you half to do is Pray, ask for help or guidence, and then listen.

I watched both parts, and you know, being skeptical and suspecting by nature, that theory actually makes a lot of sense to me. Yeah, it certainly isn't uplifting but I'm glad to add it to my knowledge. The obvious question it brings up is what happens if the offspring soul refuses to merge with the parent? I also wonder why the 5th dimensional beings shared this information with the author at all. He said they were reluctant to talk about it but they still spilled the beans. What could have been their motivation for doing that?

God= Game- This is where your Soul is at and the game chosen for you mirrors this.

Controller= Your choices- It is your choice to either run over the hooker or to help the hooker get a better life, this is the difference between growth and replaying that same game second life round.

Comment by ToxicDreamer on September 4, 2012 at 1:31am: it is confusing, but the important thing to know is that your spirit is immortal and no matter what happens you'll still have experiences ahead of you... also I don't believe we have free will, at least not 100% because we are still controlled and influenced by our environment, and outside forces... we are individual souls responsible for creating our own reality in the sense that you can change your perception, or perspective, and also gain knowlegde and wisdom. I believe we still chose to come back because there was still more to learn from this realm, but I have a feeling after this then noone will incarnate on this planet anymore because Humanity will soon cease to exist, at least as we know it.

From what I understand, this 3D reality on Earth was originally intended to be an evolutionary school like what you're describing, Toxic. Certain souls who incarnated here chose to play the role of the dark forces whose purpose was to add further "weight" to the "soul workout." They were held to a limited contract and were supposed to relinquish control at some point but they didn't. They got so caught up in their roles as the dark rulers that they became convinced they could stay in that position for eternity and expand their power further and further. And apparently, these Earthly dark forces were and are actually being controlled by negative beings from outside this whole system and that it's these beings that encouraged the dark to break their contracts in the first place.

Is this an idea that is widely accepted by people who believe in the "Earth as school" concept? If so, when was this contract broken? I read somewhere recently that it was around the year 2000. But then I hear others saying it was when the A-bomb was dropped one Hiroshima. Others seem to think it happened far earlier than that. And if this did happen and the dark forces grabbed more power than they were initially allowed, how has this affected our ability to have free will? Are we still as individual souls solely responsible for creating our own realities? How have the supposed life plans we make on the other side before incarnating been affected by the fact that the original Earth school plan has descended into chaos and corruption from the outside? At some point, did we start to be forced to come back? Did we still have soul contracts after that point? It's all very confusing.

Comment by ToxicDreamer on September 4, 2012 at 12:37am: 3d suffering is a choice, we chose to come here because when we're in the spiritual world there are no restrictions or limitations, so we incarnate in the physical realm because it does have limits and restrictions.... it's like your spirit is wearing weights and working out because we're in a slower vibration reality. we're here so we can experience new things, and see what we're capable of. it's about creating who we want to be, and also helping others grow spiritually also.

also this may open your eyes. . use self discernment, cheers. (author has alot on this subject). . I do not "agree" with it, but liked learning about it just the same. . for further branches of awareness. . ;)
