Earthquake on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge 11/08/2012 and 9/08/2012

Today the Northern-Atlantic Ridge, between NewYork and England quaked 5.3 in magnitude.

Three days ago the Mid-Atlantic Ridge quaked 4.9 in magnitude and the Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge quaked 5.2 in magnitude.

A couple of weeks ago I had a vision that it quaked exactly in the Atlantic Ridge area and I looked it up and misread the red line information and thought it really occured at that very moment - but now it HAS really occured. I was in the middle of a meditation when I saw a vision of Poiseidon hitting the Atlantic Ridge area with his Trident.

The word I received is that Mother Earth will do what it takes to extinguish any dark plans of anyone wanting to cause pain or lower her vibration in the area of her heart chakra. That is all I shall say.

I hope everyone has a back up plan when they do get a Tsunami Alarm for their area and know that a person has only about 2 hours to get theirselves out of that area. This is 2012 people. Remember those fire alarm drills we had to participate in when we were in school? Well, you should put some kind of drill together if you are in areas where a Tsunami or volcano is possible. It got quiet for a while but things are starting to kick back up so with all my love I ask for you to just be prepared to do something.

on the 16th Central Mid Atlantic Ridge - 5.3

same area, same day there were two 4.9 Earthquakes north of above noted earthquake

Further North on the North Atlantic Ridge is an Island called Ribiera Grande, Portugal and it was hit with a 4.6 Earthquake on the 16 of August.

Comment by Custos Astralis on August 12, 2012 at 11:48am: I just noticed Yellow Stone Park had a 3.2 Earthquake on the 7th of August next to THE large volcano. And Mount Pico, where the Earthquake hit yesterday at the Northern Atlantic Ridge, is slowly becoming active..... in 2009 it started to emit volcanic gases.

I was lead to this interenet site and feel I should keep an eye on the volcanoes in this area.

A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

As you have seen, earthquakes and volcanoes occur along the margins of tectonic plates. Below is a map of earthquakes which make a line down the center of the Atlantic Ocean, in a line traveling southward from Iceland. These earthquakes are nearly all shallow, and the associated volcanoes appear in clusters on the earthquake axes or as isolated events located off of the axes. The brownish red line shows the contact between the three major plates in the north Atlantic: The North American plate, the Eurasian plate, and the African plate.

Note the extensive development of volcanoes around the triple junction. Also be aware that the shallow earthquakes you see are associated with magmatic processes, yet the volcanoes are rare in many areas where there are earthquakes. Here, the mid atlantic ridge, an extensive underground mountain range has developed and this is the site where the North American plate is moving westward, and the Eurasian and African plates are moving eastward. The result is a big scar down the center of the Atlantic Ocean where magma is rising up from the mantle to fill in the gap that is being created.

Problem 5

Using your understanding of the composition of the lithosphere, what type of rock is being created by the magma being deposited along the mid ocean ridge? Do you think Iceland is composed of continental or oceanic rock? Why?

Volcanoes are also forming where they are not in association with either ocean ridge or other plate margins. Take a look off the coast of Africa and note that there are two areas where volcanoes cluster. These are the Canary Islands (north) and the Cape Verde Islands. Such volcanoes are described as "intraplate" volcanoes because they don't seem to be associated with plate margins. What type of material would you expect compose the Cape Verde and Canary Islands?

About a couple of weeks ago when I had this vision I immediately looked it up on the Earthquake Internetsite and misread the information, Without knowing I posted the blog about the vision and earthquake and later after over 40 people already viewed the blog I saw my blunder. I proceeded to delete the blog. Perhaps a few of you can remember this. Anyway, last night I decided to look take a look at the earthquake chart and saw it did occur. The earthquake started from south and made its way up north and took momentum in magnitude. That is just the beginning.
