Once, there was a kindly magician. He loved to perform for the people. He wanted to do" tricks" that helped them get their mind off of their troubles and he hoped that some of his magic would encourage them to have hope.

Light Being said… Hi Faith, did not realise you worked with Autistic, my 15yrs son has Asperger syndrome, when he was 3yrs, we did go through a rough time trying to get the support that we needed.
I 'am a counsellor, also I work within the victim support and witness service, so I coped better and was able to understand and guide those of the family that struggled with his tendencies and behaviour.
He is very gifted and insightful, and academically far ahead of his peers, but socially he still has some difficulties, however he now has a good group of friends, who know about him and his 'moment's' as they call them, and they look after him.
You are certainly right about the traditional methods being ignorant and degrading.
