- I come from a world known as ARCHLAND! To understand who I am, where I come from and why I am here we must go back to the beginning of my world’s civilization:
We were savages back then; my people were an unruly lot who knew nothing of magic and it’s potential. We fought many wars tribes fighting with other tribes, there was no knowledge so to speak, no schools, no arts, no math, no science, only the skill of combat and warfare.
There was one warrior who stood out from all the rest, she questioned the reasons for fighting, and she hungered for knowledge beyond all the blood and savagery. She began to understand that there was more to our existence than just fighting. It is said she went on a long, long journey, a journey which took her to the heavens and beyond.
Not much is known as to this part of our history, it is only known that during this time an unknown enemy entered our world. They came to conquer, to kill and destroy. WHY?...that question remained unanswered. These savages had strange weapons with which we had never seen and they moved across the land swiftly on wings of eagles and their chariots, their chariots were swift and they breathed fire. Many of my people suffered and died, our civilization was nearing extinction.
It was during this time our Lady Althena returned from her journey she had discovered the secrets to magic. She brought with her the secrets to fire and water and earth and the power of the air. She shared with us all that she had learned and those she taught in turn taught more. We used our newly found power and smashed the invaders, driving them back into the gate from which they had emerged. The most powerful of us used our abilities and we closed the gate and sealed it.
It was not just magic we had forgotten we had forgotten our connection to our world, to nature and to each other, for magic lye’s within the heart and mind and soul of every being. Magic surrounds us and flows through us. It is in everything, the earth and stone and wind, the water and the animals.
We have been watching and waiting and now the time has come. We are here to help you remember magic and its ways. We are here to help you remember so you do not make the same mistakes as we did.
