My son went to see OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL and said it was a thrill just seeing himself on the big screen. He is in many short movies and even a regular on a web weekly show...he plays a detective on some fun show, but his Oz experience was fantastic.
Claudia said… Hey there! I've been real lax in reading on the groups. Sorry I've fallen behind, just busy with writing and kids. Also had a lot of projects to finish, still working on those! Each kid wants a different hat, scarf, blanket or bedspread crocheted or knitted and can't type and to that at the same time. LOL...so don't think I've been ignoring you...I'm just being a slacker!

Claudia said… I hope you are better now. My oldest grandson, he is 17, just had to go to the ambulatory to see a doctor because he missed work with the flu. Had to get a written doctor's note for work so they won't give him points against not being there. Poor kid, but he is on the up, soaking in the tub right now and drinking a lot of liquids. We will get through this.

A short true story.....
I had a friend whose loaf of bread had gotten moldy and the green growth on the slice of bread she took out of the bag looked like the face of Jesus, I mean it really really looked like the stereotypical Jesus...the face was like a painting all in green. I truly believe that angels come into your life disguised as people sometimes to help you along! I had this very experience when I was in the hospital after having knee replacement surgery last month. I had not slept in three days and was in excrusiating pain after the surgery. Things had not gone at all well in surgery and I ended up in so much pain that the medicines they were giving me did not at all help even though it was a very high dose of morphine.
