this one i call angel of death!

 

a boy once sat on a two story balcony, staring into the stars with a tear of loss in his eye
he goe's to shout but the words do not leave his mouth, as the tear slowly leaves his cheek and falls onto the wooden boards he wispers a single wo...rd "why?" as quickly as the words leave his mouth a light appears, a flash at best, the boy l...ooks up, slowly lifting his head as without the will to barely move, as he does he see's an angel, wings as light as the moon itself and wide as the eye can see, but this was no joy, she was wearing a black dress that started from her breast and went down to her feet, and holding a a stick with a sharp metal piece that curved smoothly around almost touching, the boy still filled with shock goe's to speak, but she beats him to it, she says "you are asking a question that does not need an answer!" her words as suttle and sweet as the ocian breeze yet sharp and still as death itself, the boy, looking confused ask's "who are you?", she smile's at him, pausing just long enough to make him think she will never answer before she finally speak "i am but death itself!" by this point the boy is no longer filled with pain instead a brief moment of wonder and aw, he slowly get's up as if to appear stronger yet still with a touch of defensiveness about him he repeats his first question "why?" the angels wings creep closer in, as if they where coiling back up like a bat, "i am what i am because i am, "without death there is no life and life without death", she pauses a little longer then goes on to say " when it is your time to leave it is your time, everything happens for a reason" before the boy gets another chance to speak she quickly says "do not hate me for i am not light nor dark, i am what i need to be, with knoweledge i leave you to be, live your experience's and learn your mistake's and one day we shall meet again, until then farewell my dear child" and with that in a blink of an eye she was gone, like sand in the wind!



it holds allot of meaning to me!

I dont know how to say this, but I have read this before

I find it amazing as if I have lived it but its so surreal that y words should trigger this in you. Innanna comes to mind

my poems are storie's are all very much real, i lived this experience personally, a fight with death itself!
and thank you Lucia, it means allot to me :)
