Contributor Comment by Kelly Lightchalice on April 18, 2012 at 3:05am: Msamericapatriot, I hope you're okay, I love horses you are so lucky :) I'm not familiar with horses in particular but I practise on cats and dogs, the trick is to open your heart chakra, stroke the neck and think about all the wonderful feelings you have with your animal friend, your heart will feel like its pushing out of your chest, lol- thats how you know you've made contact :) they think in pictures and feelings rather than words so just focus on sending the feelings first and then stroke and open yourself for a reply. Good luck!
