Many of you might not know, it is not a surprise since the media is manipulated, but my former country is in despair right now. Frustration, impotence, anger, sorrow are the feelings of the entire population as of this moment, and I'm trying not to give into it.
The motive is the success of the soon-to-be president ENRIQUE PEÑA NIETO, who is only but a murderer (Responsible for the genocide of ATENCO 2006) and a tool of the party that ruled Mexico for 70 years and kept the country on a strict and violent regime.
We existed as a nation without them in power for 12 years, we had the chanse to make a true change, and what happened? THEY BOUGHT THE PRESIDENCY.
This is not a consiparcy theory, the evidence is overwhelming, documented live by a big number of the population, even in the oficial sites that are keeping record of the voters:
http://www.auctor.tv/Extras/IrregularidadesPrep100.html
EVERY SINGLE DISTRICT SHOWS A PARTICIPATION OF OVER 100%
This is an offence, an abuse, the mexican people are ashamed, no one is celebrating, the country will be hungry, and at the mercy of a dictator.
I'm glad I left the country, but all the people I love are still there, I don't know what to do, how to feel or whom to talk to, I wish the mass arests could happen now, I wish the people could be stronger and rise up, I wish for revolution, but all I see is sorrow, and I just don't know what to do, I wish I could help, but the negativity in Mexico right now is too much, the country is eating itself, and it's the most painful thing I've ever seen. I wish I had more faith, but it's really dificult for me to remain strong right now. People are resignated to live at the mercy of the dark ones.
I know the help might not come from the above, but if each one of you could say a prayer, because I know no stronger force, I'd trully appreciate it, life is in the collectiveness, and my country right now needs all the light it can get, make this known, share it in all the networks you know, send your light to my country, PLEASE we can not let the dark ones get away with this.
There is a bit of hope in me left, and it's that last inch that tells me that in this time and place it can happen, light can win. IT IS NOW OR NEVER.

Permalink Reply by Pichu on July 4, 2012 at 2:34am In Mexico I saw people die for trying to defend their rights, I was starving before I left the country, America is not perfect but I had to come here because as faulty as this system is, it still offers better oportunities.
I understand that you too have your tasks in making this country better, but all I ask for is at least a prayer, and if you really carry empathy, share the information, please.
Permalink Reply by Nancy A on July 4, 2012 at 3:51am Didn't Mexico, before the election, admit that UFOs are real? The election machines in the U.S. are being rigged as well.
Arrests of cabal, that are now being called "containment," will remove the pretenders from power, one way or another.
Mexico is not alone in losing its freedoms for the moment. Rigged elections are the last dying gasp of the cabal, here and globally. The G-20 meeting in Rio failed to arrive at a consensus to force a New World Order on the 150 majority of nations who are prepared to install a fair and equitable global financial system, as soon as Central Banks of Europe and the U.S. are dismantled, fraudulent debt accounts cancelled. The real dictators will fall. The scapegoats will be allowed to do their jobs, free of brickbats hurled by the uninformed. Using this post as an excuse to hurl brickbats is obscene.
Let's agree to limit our further remarks to the plight of Mexico, and grieve with what has happened there, for they did not deserve to lose hope so soon. June was to be a month in which changes would surface, as they are beginning to do. To ask for prayer and empathy for Mexico, and to share this information on a website of this nature, should be respected.

sending healing energies , hope thing recover & get better for the peoples soon :) <3
Permalink Reply by John Jancar on July 4, 2012 at 5:35am I've been keeping up with events there, and I don't like Nieto either, or the PRI. They have a long history of corruption. Nieto has yet to give any detailed policy of what he plans to do, and during the campaign, he barely ever addressed the security issue or what he plans to do about the cartels...except to take the military off the streets, and beef up the police force. It's a bad idea, the police force is notoriously ineffective, and easily corrupted, especially at the local level.
He says he plans to shift strategy and focus more on reducing violence instead of tackling the cartels, and...that probably is going to mean easing the pressure on the cartels and even making deals with them. That's not a good strategy, these guys are ruthless and scrupleless and they need to be stopped and their money and power taken away from them. I've always supported a hard handed effort, using all available means, including the military, to combat them. The main source of violence is between the cartels themselves, not the cartels vs the government. Easing government pressure on them is only going to make it easier for them, and taking the military out of the picture is only going to mean 1 less huge operational force working to get rid of them. Getting rid of them is the only way Mexico will be safe again.
I do like his economic approach though, focusing on infrastructure and public works, Mexico needs a ton of work in that department. The entire country is like one huge ghetto. I don't know where he's going to get the money for that though, again, he hasn't outlined any detailed policy. But, these are common sense things that anyone should be able to figure out.
Permalink Reply by Pichu on July 4, 2012 at 6:10am It's funny because he is used to recuring to violence to fight the population, not the cartels, he and his administration are pal's with the cartels, and that is general knowledge.
Permalink Reply by John Jancar on July 4, 2012 at 6:40am It really does seem that way. He barely touched the security issue, all throughout the campaign. None of them did, no candidate really addressed it properly. It's too bad Calderon can't have a second term, his policy towards them is the most sensible policy, and he clearly was focused on getting rid of them. And that's the only real policy to have.
Sure there was a spike in violence once the government started really fighting them, but that's to be expected. It's how it goes with these type of things, first violence shoots up, then falls down as the cartels lose their power. And so far, in 2012, we've seen a large drop in violence all over Mexico. But..now with this new change of power and new strategy to ease up the pressure and remove an entire fighting force from combating them, it seems the cartels will have more freedom and ease to do what they want.
And how will they stop violence unless they get rid of the cartels. Most of the violence, isn't between the cartels and the authorities...it's with cartels fighting other cartels, and cartels preying on the population with kidnappings and extortions. That's almost the entire cause of the violence. How are they going to stop violence if they don't stop the cartels.
And Nieto even said they shouldn't focus so much on stopping drug shipments or disrupting the cash flow. I mean...he can't be serious. He says he plans on having a former Colombian general as a security adviser, yet that's how they got rid of the cartels in Colombia, going after the cash and drug shipments and taking out the leaders, exactly what Calderon tried to do. And..now Nieto wants to stop all that. I mean..he can't be serious. I can't believe people voted for this guy. And there very well might've been fraud, nobody I've talked to from Mexico likes him. Well apparently..Obrador is demanding a recount...let's hope he gets it and that he ends up winning.
Permalink Reply by John Jancar on July 4, 2012 at 6:02am Unfortunately, there's too many dynamics at play with the Mexican economy, and the global economy, to expect any reasonable changes. And the root of all the problems is the greed and corruption of the wealthy, as it usually is. Foreign corporations, wealthy families, governments, don't have much of an incentive to improve the quality of life for Mexicans, or other people in poor countries. They make tons of money off their cheap labor. For poor countries, in order to attract foreign investment, it's almost like a race to the bottom, to see who can have the lowest standards, for wages, for workers rights, cheaper resources and labour, etc.
I remember being there and seeing companies like McDonalds, Wal Mart, Toyota, Dodge, etc... all these huge rich companies there making money off the people, yet do practically nothing to improve the quality of life there. And why would they, why would any greedy corporation want to spend millions, or billions, of dollars to make it harder for them to make money by improving the country. Why would the government, who have a stake in keeping people poor and without rights to attract foreign investment, want to do something to fix that. It doesn't seem to strike them though, that a happy, healthy population with money to spend, would be more inclined to buy things, in the long run xD
Also, something like 20 billion dollars of the annual Mexican economy comes from immigrants, legal and illegal, who work in other countries and send money back to Mexico. So there's no incentive to stop illegal immigration, in fact, the more people that go, the better.
The American, and Mexican, economy, is pretty reliant on these workers, so that's why there's been no real action to do anything about the immigration problem. Despite the public outcry to stop it, the leaders know stopping it isn't a good idea for either country. And that's understandable, and people need to understand that, instead of just naively saying, they broke the law, deport them! The real world is more complex than that.
And, again, unfortunately, there's no real way things are going to change anytime soon...unless....we see the changes that we're promised! That the cabal are removed, and there's prosperity programs rolled out, governments change, heads of corporations change, and we have some good decent people put in power, who care about uplifting the world, and not just about making money and having power. That's the only way we'll see any real change anytime soon, and apparently, it's supposed to happen.....so...we're waiting...the world is depending on these changes...let's hope we're not being played for fools.
