Bruce Lee was born in the year of the dragon and during the hour of the dragon. Bruce Lee is considered to be the best known practitioner of martial arts in the twentieth century. He is also probably one of the best known action figure actors of film in the twentieth century, with record breaking amounts in both attendance and profitability in the Asian region, creating an impact and influence on Hollywood due to this popularity. And Sudden Serious Health Issues (And In That Order)
Bruce Lee returned to Asia after a short lived acting career in the United States, and would become hugely popular with fans of martial arts movies in Asia. It didn't take long for Hollywood to notice the attraction to martial arts action movies in the states; Warner Brothers' "Enter The Dragon" was Hollywood's response to this popularity. Starring Bruce Lee of Hong Kong film fame; Bruce became an instant martial arts icon in the United States.
It is fair to say that trouble began to brew in Hong Kong with "Enter The Dragon" between Bruce Lee and the Chinese film producers that "made him," notably Raymond Chow. This started with Lee accepting the starring role with Warner Brothers' "Enter The Dragon." Bruce Lee liked the approach that the producers and directors did with that movie, he especially liked the script, and he reportedly missed the United States leisure life and party life, especially with Hollywood friends like Steve McQueen and James Coburn. Also noteworthy was actor George Lanzenby reporting that Bruce Lee and Raymond Chow were constantly arguing with each other on the Hollywood set, and Lazenby felt that Bruce Lee "couldn't stand the sight of Chow."
It was revealed after his death that Bruce Lee was reportedly interested in a deal with Run Run Shaw (or the Shaw Brothers), who was Raymond Chow's main Chinese film rival and a despised enemy in Hong Kong. Bruce was also reportedly interested in possible deals floated from Warner Brothers, and 1990's martial arts action super star Jackie Chan (who was a stuntman in "Enter The Dragon" (he was the one who got his neck snapped by Bruce Lee in the underground scene)) claimed that Bruce wanted to take him and other martial arts stuntmen back to the United States and set up his own film company.
Bruce was also reportedly being asked for money from organized crime and asked to be "a signature" for the Chinese triads, and it was reported that he kept telling them no, constantly. There are also those in the conspiracy area who claim Bruce Lee had blood relations with the Li family (which is one of "the thirteen families" of the Illuminati, and reported to be possible "reptilians") and that he reportedly told them that he was his own boss and wouldn't work for anyone else.
QUESTION FOR ASHTAR: was Bruce Lee "a reptilian??" Probably not, because he hated rituals and ritualistic ways of doing things, especially in the martial arts. Bruce was interested in philosophy, and he used a philosophical approach in the area of martial arts, and wanted his craft to be available to anyone and everyone, cost or no cost. This would horrify a reptilian!
Bruce began to have health problems after "Enter The Dragon" was finished. He reportedly had a ruptured disc while working with weights, and was prescribed muscle relaxants and NSAIDs (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen). He also chewed on Tibetan hashish leaves (and made hashish brownies) for pain management according to his wife Linda.
On May 10, 1973, Bruce was working on finishing the sound editing for "Enter The Dragon" and collapsed in a very hot Hong Kong recording studio. Bruce was rushed to the hospital in Hong Kong for symptoms of hyponatremia (low sodium) with brain swelling and seizures (which is common if your serum sodium is low). He recovered, and was immediately flown to UCLA School of Medicine (Neurology) to find out what was going on. They couldn't find anything, and gave him anticonvulsant medications and a clean bill of health. John Saxon (co-star of "Enter The Dragon") caught up with him in Los Angeles and Bruce boasted his UCLA report to him: "the body of an eighteen year old!"
Note that Bruce continued taking muscle relaxants (I couldn't find out which ones, but meprobamate looks strongly probable), as well as NSAIDs (called doloxene (or ibuprofen)) and was also chewing on hashish leaves for pain management as he went on to work with his next movie, "The Game of Death."

WAS CHUCK NORRIS CORRECT ABOUT WHAT KILLED BRUCE LEE?
Betty Ting Pei was introduced to Bruce Lee in 1972 (by Raymond Chow) during the set of "The Way of The Dragon." Her resume' states that she is a "Taiwanese actress;" she was born in Beijing, China (and her father (and grandfather) were very prominent physicians and her mother was a descendant of Chinese warlords). In short, she came from a politically influential family in pre-communist China who would later migrate to Taiwan, a country engrained with organized crime ran by three Chinese triads (currently it's "The Bamboo Union," "The Four Seas Triad," and "The Celestial Way"). And there usually wasn't one dollar spent in Taiwan (and possibly Hong Kong) that they didn't get a piece of.
It was quietly reported among the Chinese movie staff that Betty was Bruce's mistress, and people saw him go to her apartment weekly. She was reportedly going over the script of "The Game of Death" (Bruce's last and unfinished movie) on July 20, 1973 , when Bruce asked for something for a headache. Betty stated she gave Bruce Equagesic (aspirin and meprobamate) at 7:30 PM. Bruce went to sleep, and never woke up.
Raymond Chow and Betty Ting Pei would both be caught in lies after Lee's death. Raymond Chow told The Star on July 21, 1973 that "I rushed to his (Lee's) home and it was decided we should rush him to the hospital" (LEE WAS AT BETTY'S FLAT; the reporters present reportedly booed and called him out on that). Betty told The Star "on Friday night when he died I was not at home. I had gone out with my mother. I last met him several months ago when we came across each other in the street" (TOTAL LIE!)

Chuck Norris claims that Betty Ting Pei gave Bruce Lee antibiotics (which Bruce did not need at that time) which combined with his prescribed pain medications (ibuprofen) and his prescribed muscle relaxant medications (unknown, but meprobamate (which was an ingredient in the Equagesic pain pill Bruce was given by Betty) is a strong possibility) creating a detrimental health condition, possibly hyponatremia. While Chuck Norris didn't outright say it, he basically said that Betty killed Bruce Lee via a special combination of drugs that were contraindicated for use with each other.
Bruce Lee's brain swelled from 1400 grams to 1575 grams while he was asleep, and killed him via ruptured blood vessels. Please note that non-trauma swelling of the brain is almost always caused by hyponatremia (low sodium), and ibuprofen (which is what Bruce was taking for pain) mixed with the popular fluoroquinolone antibiotic Ciprofloxacin can cause severe hyponatremia, as well as meprobamate (which was a popular muscle relaxant at that time (and was in the pain pill Betty gave Bruce) and has stated warnings of dehydration, which can lead to depleted serum sodium and thus lead to hyponatremia).
Hence, there is some very strong potential for truth with Chuck Norris's claim of what killed Bruce Lee!!!!!!!!!!
