The path of the initiate is part of the soul's evolutonary journey through matter....Starting out in incarnations of relative primativeness and becoming a refined vehicle for the will of the higher self, on the final phase of the journey....

We can use esoteric astrology to demonstrate stages, in that millennia long journey as an incarnated human being, trapped in planetary karma and slowly, with great pain and experience, treading the path BACK to godhood and self mastery...

There are three great astrological crosses that mark the journey described and they are travelled in a precise order, starting with the Mutable Cross, passing from it, onto the Fixed Cross and on the final stages, moving higher, the initiate is placed upon the Cardinal Cross........This is a crucifixion process........

IMPORTANTLY....Please note that when the incarnated man or woman becomes INITIATE, at the 1st degree birth, the entry into the HIERARCHY will follow in one or two lives, following that, and is defined as the transfiguration at the 3rd degree.....Then a human being is actually working within the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth, consciously or otherwise....

At the 4th degree, which is the crucifixion proper, the initiate is very much in a phase of sacrificing his lower personality upon the alter of service to the higher purpose...that of his higher self....We can view this astrologically as being a goat, aka Capricorn upon the Cardinal Cross.....

So, note that contrary to what the censored bible teaches, the GOAT is the sign of initiation, not the sheep....As the sheep of a flock, is more in keeping with the symbolisms of an earlier age (Aries) when many of these concepts were taught to the Hebrews, almong others.....And so we can substitute the Goat for the Sheep, when describing the biblical verse, as true spiritual maturity is symbolised by the former, rather than the latter....

 

Evn the pentacle itself has been made to confuse initiates on the path, as with satanists turning the pentacle so that it points downward in a manner resembling the face of a goat....the horns, beard and ears of the goat, protruding outward, as with the rays of an inverted pentagram star...

 

Yet, as explained, the delusional satanists have also been subject to much historical glamour, as the very evolution they spurn, is demonstrated in both versions of the pentacle....The one above, that of the goat and the one below too....

compared to Lucifer by misogynist astrologers.  

really. in principia discordia. look it up.

also i read that the planet Venus traces out that very symbol in the skies above Earth every eight years.

i don't know if that is astronomically true -- it may be folklore.

I agree Drexx ... but many "good or light" symbols that are used ... are also introverted to symbolize the opposite ... the example of the swastika ... One way shows the meaning of creation or earth or even the diety Ganesha ... but the Nazi's who were black magicians ... used the introverted form for their agenda and signature .... Same goes for the pentagram ... one that is used in Wicca ... like the one you posted ... and the opposite is used for Satanism ... Again just another prime example of duality ... Energy is energy ... can be used anyway you focus your intention and action ;)

Drexx, I have a question for you about symbols and their corresponding energy ..... back in my days of seeking I was into a lot of things .... one thing was something called Radionics ... I remember purchasing from a well-known radionic consultant named Caroline Connor  Healing Templates .... these templates you put under your covers on your bed and you sleep on them ...basically, you give her your birthday information and she programs these templates specifically to you ... each template is for one of the many bodies within you ... example,  physically, astral etc ... each template has its own unique symbols on them .... some even have off-planet type symbols .... typically each template will have some symbols, numbers ... some symbols you know and some you never seen before ... some templates show planets and even ufo's .... they are very unique and by looking at them you can feel they are powerful and have much meaning ... The purpose of these templates is to move you forward in your evolution...

When I first ordered them and I opened the package ... my first reaction was like "ok this must be a joke, I just wasted my money on this" ... but nevertheless, I tried them anyway ... never forget that first night .. when I laid down on them ... immediately I started to feel energy and vibration from them ... as I laid there it felt like I was being wrapped in a cocoon of energy .... even my lips were vibrating!  It was a intense experience ... as time went on ... those strong reactions ceased but was still there at a much lower frequency ... still to this day I sleep on them ... the difference I feel is very very deep sleep ... very vivid dreams almost real in nature ... it doesn't matter what time I go to bed ... when I wake up I feel very refreshed ( most of the time I really try to get at least 8 hrs of sleep a night) ...

check what you have been told about the svastika with the reality of oppression in the Dravidian subcontinent.

the practise of caste imposition and general demoization and punishment of women for simply being emale accompanies the svastika -- it is possible to argue that it has never been a symbol of righteousness -- but of harsh and ALIEN imposed "order" on people that accompanied slavery and murder -- but do some research.  we can find examples in history of that symbol being used to justify ethnic atrocity -- but do you know the history of the Dravdiian subcontinent since the 1400s BC, the so called "New Stone Age"?  

when did the practice of "suti"  -- or the death by live cremation of the wives of Brahmin warriors -- begin?   were anyone who wanted to oppose such practices allowed to speak out against the Brahmanic regimes?

it seems more likely that one of the most famous children of the Dravidian subcontnient, Gautama, renounced and rejected out of disgust all of the Aryan impositions represented by that symbol.
