Killing youself is not possible. You can only kill your body. And you seem to have a quite good one at the moment. If you commit suicide you will probably don't have that much luck again during your next incarnation...

In the past there have been many moments where I thought about escaping from my problems by suicide, too.

But finally I understood that this would create even more problems and karma.

Dear Indigo1955, your post to "need help in not killing self" is very loving and insightful, an inspiration to all on this web site,in my opinion, as we are all here to learn how to help in the Ascension of Mother Earth, even if we do not stay here.

A song comes to mind, but I don't recall the name of it. It starts like this: "When the nights become too lonely and days become too long, and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong..." Perhaps it will come to me & I'll post it.

The song is "The Rose." It will be with me for the rest of the day. I'm glad I remembered it. Every soul on this planet, at this time, has a reason to be here, if only to witness the miracle of Ascension of this beautiful planet, which has been through so much terror and shame. It is for us, the living, to heal and restore Mother Earth, no matter how much pain we suffer in the process, for we shall all be richly rewarded as the planet rises to glory.
