Ok, so we all know about karma, and how our actions in this life, can determine our place in the next life.
Many of us live our lives by this, by saying, Karma will catch up with us, or you, depending on what someone has done etc..........
So is karma really real, and how can we prove this?
Many religions say karma is real, Hinduism, Buddhism............
But we know how religions can be used as a tool of control, and many people or moving away from religions because they can see what they are doing, ie; controlling us.
But the GFL are supposedly not a religion, and they dont agree with the control of religion on us either, they want to free us from the cultures on earth which hold us back from being our true cosmic loving selves, yet they use karma as many earth religions do.
Im not saying this as an attempt to bash the GFL, iam using it as an example, if religions are holding us back, and religions use controlling techniques, then maybe karma is one of these techniques.
If anyone has any answers they can provide which they can verify the exsistance of karma then please do, because all we really know at the moment is, that karma supposedly exsists, and we tend to live our controlled exsistence by it.
1.
Hinduism, Buddhism . action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad, either in this life or in a reincarnation: in Hinduism one of the means of reaching Brahman. Compare bhakti ( def. 1 ) , jnana.
2.
Theosophy . the cosmic principle according to which each person is rewarded or punished in one incarnation according to that person's deeds in the previous incarnation.
3.
fate; destiny. Synonyms: predestination, predetermination, lot, kismet.
4.
the good or bad emanations felt to be generated by someone or something: Lets get out of here. This place has bad karma.

They may not necessarily be true but mankind's fear of the "unknown" is legendary. I think everyone wants to live and do the right thing, it's when they're tricked into doing the wrong thing portrayed as the right thing. This is when there's a problem. The GFoL just wants humanity to be free and is encouraging humanity to take the final steps, and it is a very bold step to take.
Interesting discussion Kelly, thanks.
Love and light,
Amdy.
Permalink Reply by Mayir on February 9, 2012 at 10:13pm Well, first remember this is old world we're talking about and mankind was quite savage (even today), so the fear of the unknown was and still is a good tool to use to keep them in-line so to speak, except in wars where they were let loose to do their worst. When something happens to one, in another place it happens to another, so if this theory works and I do believe it does as we're all one, then perhaps karma does work on bad people in a way. So if one was bad one place, in another place something bad to someone who was bad.
We'll never really know for sure until we're much more aware ourselves so we can know these truth's.
I always believe at the end, everything is always forgiven anyway.
It certainly is something to ponder on, and I do enjoy figuring out the secrets :)
Love and light to you Kelly,
Andy.
P.S Other races may have already seen our future on earth and how it plays out, and are hinting to get mankind moving rather than let it play out. Perhaps?

Love and light,
Andy.
Permalink Reply by marianinia on February 9, 2012 at 10:20pm religion dont believe in karma , the one that believe in karma are the hindus or people from india , and thats another matter because their religion as u call it its completely different fron catholic or baptist or such they are the ones who believe in hell and purgatory and bringstone and fire .....i dont believe the hindus believe in the devil like this other religion do.....they are more spiritual they believe in karma ........
its STILL A RELIGION, thats like saying well meat is bad except beef its not really meat. savvy?
karma is made up to make you live in fear that your actions will have grave consequences even after death,
karma/sin are completely interchangable. use your minds for a few minutes and you might not be wasting your hearts beliving lies
Permalink Reply by Ara on February 9, 2012 at 10:49pm the word karma doesn’t necessarily associates with fear, it could represent caution, as what goes around comes around, so people are more conscious about their choices instead of ‘mechanical’ reaction, there are some synonymous words 'cause and effect', "ripple effect' which are not related to religion.
Permalink Reply by John Jancar on February 9, 2012 at 10:59pm Well sure karma exists. Not just on a life to life level, but just in this life too. Like, every single bike I ever stole as a kid, was stolen from me lol Bar none, every single one. To me, that's karma in action. And I notice too, that when I'm nice to people and helpful...people are nice and helpful to me. I mean not even the same person, just people in general. When I'm in a mode of being nice to people....I seem to encounter only nice people. I think that's also karma. So of course it's real, I think that's an absolute basic, that's part of spirituality 101.
I think it's a universal law. What goes around comes around, what you put out, you get back....for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. I think it's connected to the Law of Attraction, and...it's cause and effect. I think that's the ultimate justice, because it's totally impersonal...it's not God judging you and punishing you, it's you doing it to yourself. The energy you create, has to be balanced out. It's the ultimate universal justice system.
Permalink Reply by DeepeningShadow on February 9, 2012 at 11:31pm Honestly yes it does, it's so real people wouldn't believe it if they looked at it in the face. It takes a while for someone to even get what they truly means for a eternal scale, but to anwser your question beyond a shadow of a dobut yes.
Permalink Reply by VioletRay on February 10, 2012 at 12:16am Hi folks, one does not always attract kind people, even if one is always kind and loving, though they surely will not stay in each others presence very long either if they are not a somewhat similar vibration, oil and water is a sort of close analogy.
You can mix oil and water together, but they will quickly separate from one another.
I think when we encounter people that are not very peaceful or kind, it is probably in service, to offer help by our particular kind of vibrational energies, because I notice they seem to just appear out of nowhere sometimes and in droves and leave just as quickly, maybe to get a boost that they need.
The law of attraction is definitely real, what we put out does come back in some way at one time or another.
It is our own doing for the most part, though conditions of living in a world is a different matter, since it involves many more individuated expressions of the one source.
That is why i see this reality as an experiment, since we rely on others in so many ways, until a new type of reality is born, when we become self sufficient and then another type of experience (experiment) is born.
peace love light
Permalink Reply by Delilah7777 on February 10, 2012 at 12:41am I believe that when our time of "Judgement" comes, we stand in judgement of ourselves. So my simple answer would be Yes, Karma does exist. We are all held accountable for our actions, but it just depends on when we want to come clean with our self.
The Eyes of Truth are always watching us, and those Eyes are our "Eyes" as well. Deep down, I believe all beings will have to stand before themselves, and look at what they have done.
But infinite compassion also exists within us, so if we can somehow make right what we've done, and forgive ourselves and others in this lifetime, we are that much further down the "evolutionary" path. :-)
I believe there is a deep "cleansing" as well that happens. Our impurities must be burned away in the fire of truth, it's not as horrible as it sounds, it's actually not that bad depending on who you are inside and what your true intentions are.
I may be wrong about my perception of this, but this is what my current views are... :-)
