Logbar is the name of an electronics company out of Japan that now excitedly promised to produce an innovative new product that will take the world of international travel by storm.
The "ILI" is a wearable device that will instantly translate any spoken language by voice; translating up to 50,000 words and phrases without the use of WiFi or mobile data.
This brilliant new invention is claimed by Logbar to enable people to translate in real time; giving the ability to converse with people of other languages instantly. The ILI is going to be patented with a library of commonly used phrases by travelers; so there are less translation errors for the user.
The Library is also to include words associated with the latest trends and things associated with the area that the user is located.
The website for the ILI by Logar was just recently launched, however the device was first launched in January 2016. It is supposed to have been already launched to United States businesses as of June 2017.
According to Facebook, the ILI has received a 4.4/5 rating from early users. This device may be exactly what any every tourist needs. Currently, the ILI translates in English, Japanese and Chinese; making the device a bit limited, though the company is to add Korean, Thai and Spanish at a future date.
The initial price is going to be £160 or $150 for one unit. Once the popularity of the device develops, we may see the translator in stores and on Amazon. The device will allow travelers the freedom of adventuring to any destination and not have to be accompanied by a hired translator or tour guide. It will enable people of different languages to even make small talk in waiting areas and in public social events; making language barriers finally a thing of the past!
