If this film makes you hateful, please stop watching!
It is not meant to only make people upset, like some kind of "hate-porn".
It is meant for two things.
1) Give information about the reality of much (but not all) meat production.
2) Give compassionate persons an opportunity to make good desicions about their eating habits, and in this way help minimize the suffering of animals.
Again -- if you start to feel hatred, please turn off the video! It is a sign that the video was not meant for you. We don't want to multiply lower vibrations. But we do need eye-openers for persons that are unaware of the suffering they unwillingly cause by their eating habits.

Permalink Reply by Adalis Stargazing on April 4, 2012 at 11:36pm Animals can be humanely raised and slaughtered. What needs to be realized that no matter how hard one tries, not everyone is going to stop eating meat. Not only that, there is nothing wrong with eating meat. I've been vegan going on 5 years, and I don't have a problem with someone else eating animals or their by products. Life consumes life, that's just how the system works and we are an integral part of the system. What I do have a problem with are factory farms. Not only do animals exist in horrible conditions, it's horrible for the planet and the employees. That's why I prefer to spend my time educating people on that reality and pointing them to resources where they can obtain non factory farmed meat and animal products.
For those interested, here are some links that can educate and help you find local animal sources that don't come from factory farms:

Maybe if you said a prayer and gave LIGHT and LOVE to the meal you are eating, you would heal the karma created by the killing of animals inhumanely (what would be humane anyway?) ... so if you are still eating meat, ask for the animals soul to be healed and say thank you to it for the sacrifice it made for you.
If you only ate food from free range animals, for example. then those animals butchered by McDonald's would not have any karma clearing at all... so just cleanse all food you eat with prayer, you can do it, you are a co-creator, you CAN set the animal free if you try :)
PS, Animals release a fear hormone upon death which lays in the meat until you eat it... some are sensitive to this hormone - something to think about :)
No judgement here though, we are what we are... for now :)
Um. McDonalds is a Monsanto supporter. You are not eating entirely meat when you go there. I can't even stand the smell of the food, let alone eat it. Aspatame, Agent Orange, Corexit 95, Roundup, Bacterial Bio-engineering, is not on my menu at any time.
Permalink Reply by Louise on April 4, 2012 at 7:39am I don't think so either and the way the animals are treated is horrific they are nothing more than money in the eyes of the farmers being vegan taught me a lot about what goes on with these poor animals. I'm just glad as my vibration shifted so did my eating habits and awareness of everything. The ability to see the bigger picture in life and make compassionate choices that don't accumulate more karma and add to the energy matrix of loving our animals rather than mistreating and torturing them. :)

Permalink Reply by Krishna Kalki on April 4, 2012 at 4:37am I understand what Kalindi is trying to put across but killing animals is wrong...some kill the animals by cutting their throats slowly but some kill animals by cutting their throat with one swift blow with a knife so the animal is not suffering too much as apposed to killing it slowly BUT EITHER WAY KILLING ANIMALS IS A SINFUL ACT
Permalink Reply by Adalis Stargazing on April 6, 2012 at 10:38pm Killing an animal is not a sinful act. If that's true, then every animal on this planet that eats another animal is committing a sinful act. The Venus Fly Trap eats bugs, is it committing a sinful act as well?
Hunting a bear with a spear is a good idea. Knowing that if you mess up, the bear will eat you. Bagged my first bear in this manner, than again I also used a pit trap. Conquer fear and the fear has no meaning.
Permalink Reply by Laura on April 7, 2012 at 7:51am well ... for me it is simple: i would eat meat only for survival because only then it would need an animal sacrifice. In the movie "Avatar" and also the old native American cultures they have the same principle. Since we have enough to eat in the society i live in i have no need to eat meat...first of all of not killing and making other beings suffer and second because it is bad energy i would take to my body with eating a dead corps.
also i dont think that humans are animals...we shouldnt compare ourselves with animals all the time... the more evolved a (human)race is the more conscious it becomes ...that is why animals still eat other animals (but mostly they do it for survival).
well thats just my view ...please only stop eating meat if it feels right to YOU :) not for others...

I don't know, I do see the point that Kalindi is trying to make here.
If you were a pig, and you were able to roam free instead of remain in a tiny cage without being able to move until the time of your death, I am thinking the Pig would choose to roam free.
I think that is the point she is trying to make here.
If you are going to eat meat, than at least buy from distributors that treat the animals with kindness up until the time of their death, instead of torturing them slowly their whole lives until death.
