"I SEE YOU" AVATAR / what it means to you?

A “BIG” thank you, To all the member’s of ACC for Showing the real you, Avatar’s are OK, --- --- like a bumper sticker on the rear end of your car, it make’s a comical statement or a worm statement, sometimes a scary statement.

I realy like your smiling face statements -- matched with the worm and caring words of wisdom that you share with all of us at ACC.

Seeing your smile really adds a lot to the authenticity --- or signature if you will to a post or thread.

We identify with each other growing up --- all threw life -- face to face -- and have grown accustom to this kind of stand up “I see you” I’m here see me -- connection.

This other Avatar stuff that came along with the internet movement always seemed ---- well like there trying to hide something or are insecure with them selves, or don’t like how they look....

I don’t know, I was just sitting here this morning and thinking back over the years how all the people I have made a deep connection with -- and remembering there faces is much more friendly to me some how,-- I just don’t seem to remember a bumper sticker in a sea of car’s like I do a casual glance at the driver.

I don’t know I feel still some how its just not right to address another person with a bumper sticker when your putting your self forwards. What are some of your thoughts on this.

If your talking from behind an avatar why?

As for me -- I feel much more respect in speaking to a face, mainly a smiling one. I feel like I’m actually being heard talking to a face than a picture that in all rights, 'should be on a wall' some where.

And for all that are and have shown there real self here, much gratitude and respect for your honesty Thanks ---- John

Ok, what is this avatar ment to show us, --- Sun Rise or maybe a sun set, or cloud ship that will disipate in minutes, or a moment captured in time? I guess How i feel mentally at the moment is how i inturpit, thats why i'm asking what dose it mean to you. what are you saying with this avatar. what do you want us to see in this avatar?

Some people choose Avatars for numerous reasons LJW, some for obvious reasons such as fear or shame (for whatever reason), some choose them for fun, some to give an impression or image, some just choose them because they can! The message is its not the face or lack there of but the message or statement the 'image' or 'face' is portraying is what counts. We all have personal preferences and that's great, but to try to shame people into showing their true faces just to satisfy your own ends is a little arrogant. Never judge someone else by your own standards as it leads to arrogance or insecurity and either way, you can't win. Peace, love & light.

I Know right. If i didnt have to shave every morning. I think I could get away with being 30 again, alass i look and see a 64 year old guy holding a 30 year old spirit, most of the time anyway. Just so glad the spirit is time less, and eternal, regardless of the shell I get handed at birth. John

NO, No I do understand, what your saying. intimate -- yes i guess that is what is lacking in the internet bloging at large. as we've seen first hand it can help feed false curage in those who love to attack with a mask on. I think i'm gaining alittle more confidence in standing behind my own face. and i think thats helping me feel more contident about myself as a hole and more complete person as well. anything to regain self empowerment is a positive move.

One of my favorite music artist believe this too.-- Michael Jackson but they dtomped on his innocence, such a unforgiving world at times.

You want brutal honesty as why I don't put a pic of my face up? Well it's just sheer laziness lol. Plus the fact that I don't even have a recent picture of myself. I've never been very much into the self-cultus and by this word I mean having lots of pictures taken of myself to show and/or share.

Right now, I'm just not even motivated to grab my camera, take a picture of myself and upload it to the computer, just to satisfy other people's interest or curiosity. Maybe some day, maybe not... in the end it doesn't matter for I am not my picture, I am me.
