Find a place where you feel safe and comfortable to communicate with this entity.  For me I light a few nice candles that are appealing to me like something that smells nice and helps me relax. Drinking a nice cup of tea is also relaxing.

I communicate through telepathy or through tarot cards. Not everyone can do a trot reading properly so if you do get them make sure you get the beginners cards that have instructions on how to lay them out and read them. 

Theres also another way, you can take a crystal in your hand and close your eyes. Meditate on show yourself to me and tell me what I should know. At this point you will begin to hear whispers and not be able to make out what they are saying at first, this is normal so dont be scared. When you listen closely and ask again you will hear the whispers come to one sounding voice. After this experience you will feel a loss of energy and a bit dizzy.

Channelling first of all its something u just get the hang of. once u do it u will always be able to its like riding a bike once u get it u will always know how to. the first time i channelled i channelled the conciousness known as the "5D Human Neural Network" and basically it like listening and monitoring your own thoughts. Think of your thoughts coming into your awareness tge same way u think of people that come into your lives. You attract them and create their "personality" and "identity". The simpliest way for me to explain it is to communicate with your own thoughts. I don't really know how to say it well it words, if you need more clarity then this let me know. FIAT LUX. Peace.

Hello XD I am just beginning to learn telepathy and speaking more directly with my guides. I feel like it is easier when I kindof mentally latch onto their energy or focus on it. I also find it easier when I prectice with someone that I am currently very connected to, which is why I usually practice with my guide Areana the most. I have also practiced with my best friend of 7 years, but it wasnt very succesfull. haha that just tells the difference in vibrations between humans and higher dimensionals. lol

Steve Rother, on his website lightworker.com has gone over the process in some of his videos. You can find them in the Evolution Center.
There are many ways to channel, and in reality, we all do it all the time. We simply don't realize we are doing it.
Some channel through pictures/visions
Some through feelings
Some through smells
Some through sounds/words
and Some through simply a knowing...
I am of the latter category. It has been difficult growing up and living as an adult "know it all" and it took me some time to temper the incoming "knowing" so that it doesn't seem outwardly that I'm condescending or uppity.

Each of us has a specific talent in at least one of the ways, but we can access ALL of the methods to some extent.

The trick will be to find your talent/area and nurture that. Steve has mentioned that he does not meditate at all... He simply falls asleep, so feels that meditation in a strict sense is unnecessary. Just as with channeling, we all meditate to some degree... It could be playing music, reading, visual arts or the like... Some do it while traveling in their car, though I don't recommend it.
It's simply the place where you are at peace, quiet within and reflective. Some seem to require all the trappings like candles, incense, Tibetan bells, etc. but really, it is whatever you require to enter that state of quiet.

It is easier to focus on a specific task or question when I am alone and going through the ritual of relaxation, breathing and focus, but I still access that inner "knowing" all the time. For the most part, it is from an external question asked of me where the concept or answer simply occurs to me as I hear the question being asked. Sometimes, I have the information even before the question is finished being asked.

Bottom line is, you have the ability. You have what you need already to accomplish what you seek. The relevant question here is if your latent, primary ability is such that you can achieve what you want, such as direct communication. It may be that you are one of the folks that pick up on feelings rather than words/sounds or perhaps even your primary talent is channeling through smell... Yes, that is a real ability. Don't be discouraged if you don't have available right now the ability that you desire, but access the ability that you do have and nurture that.... I assure you that the others will come in the proper time.

When I ask about your "friend" I get back that she is a distant relative that has taken on the role of guide... I bet that if you were to allow, and simply entered that quiet place within, she would make it easy for you to pick up on the energies.
Ask her... find a quiet place... relax... and ask... Then don't expect anything... just allow. Be aware of what transpires, what comes into your awareness at that moment. Trust yourself to be exactly what you need to be in order to learn and advance in your evolution, because you already are.

hello sister

first my spelling sucks too so hope you dont mind that. i went through similar feelings some time ago and then i started to explore the universe from the comfort my sofa :) first i hade no idea how to do it but i followed my intuition and that worked great for me. but we are all different so i dont know if this will work for you but here is how i did it.

first you need to "ground" youre self to mother earth, this can be done in many ways this is what i use, close youre eys and visualize youre root chakra growing and falling down to the center of the earth leaving a red light trail that is connected to you, then visualize how it grows roots and connects to mother earths energy field. this is shuld make you feel like some thing is pulling you a little bit down towards the center of the earth. this is youre "pipeline" where you can "throw" energys you dont need anymore away from you light body or energy field or what ever you want to call it. whit energys you dont need i mean energys that dont belong to you, old thought patterns foreign energys every thing that is not you. and when you throu away old energy you need to do a refill, silmply visualize new light energy coming from the source entering throug youre crown chakra filling youre body whit new light energy. this is the basic teknik and i will not go in to it more now.

now that you are grounded you can start to explore the universe, first i like to say hello to all my friends, family and loved ones that is out there simply by speaking whit my mind and saying hello family, friends and loved ones. then after that i ask for healing from one of the archangels, michael is one of my favorites and i ask for healing from him or some one he knows that can help me . and then the magic starts as you are being healed you feel thoughts running thru your head things that you gone thru in youre life try to learn what you can from these thoughts and let them go to your groundin. if you loose your grounding simply ground your self again.

well i have to run now so ill have to make the rest short.

for the chanelling you have to "clean" your system whit the teknik above so that you reach a higher level or dimension because the informatinon you are looking for is not here in the 3 dimensinon.

and about your "friend" it is probably your guardian angel because they are allways whit us from birth to the end.

and last try to find a healing teacher in your town and you can learn from there about how to comunicate whit your guardian angel when you give healing to some one. here in finland we have healing centers in all the bigger towns where you can get heaking for free once a week and join in lightwork for the good of the hole planet. in those you can go to healing "school" and learn about the way of the lightworkers/lightwarriors. this is the place in helsinki http://www.aurinko.fi/openhealingnight.html
