I mean like if you get an Archangel Michael tattoo or a Goddess Bastet one (I'm pondering it).
Do you think it's a violation of the body or reverence that is unhealthy. I think some tattoos are beautiful.
Like to know what you think!

The guy I use now is really thin lines and lots of detail ... and then you have some artists which are about the thick type of lines ... looking to blend in my arms soon for the sleeve look ... its getting there
Permalink Reply by Ara on September 20, 2012 at 5:57am Maori tattoos have been practiced for over a thousand years, and it has a sacred significance. Maoris are the original inhabitants of New Zealand, known to them as Aotearoa or the land of the long white cloud. Ta moko (literally meaning to strike or tap) was used as a form of identification, rank, genealogy, tribal history, eligibility to marry, and marks of beauty or ferocity. Also in Samoan, Japan and etc. Everything comes with Respect of Yourself, the symbols has 'power' - in some way it will represent you or empower your" , - just my perception.
This is good movie trailer:

Permalink Reply by Feather Winger on September 20, 2012 at 6:57am I really like tattoos....when they are good ones....and the answer is yes they raise your frequency when you get spiritual ones. Some of the spiritual artists design tattoos for this reason. But, when you get tattoos it causes trauma to the body,,,shock from all the needles. To avoid the trauma my you can use a homeopathic medicine......ARNICA....200C..(this is the potency you want ) . Just take 1 of these pillls right before the tattoo session and you won´t get the trauma.....easy,,and it works..
This is also important for all of you who have tattoos from the past...just take ARNICA::::200C...and release this trauma from the past,,,you will feel a lot better......it is a stress release thing. My friends all have lotsa big tats and so I do a stress release for them with the arnica...
Permalink Reply by Feather Winger on September 20, 2012 at 7:57am Yes, I like tattoos a lot and think they are a good idea,,,,just be sure to release the trauma... no big deal.
Permalink Reply by Rosie on September 20, 2012 at 10:11am ABSOLUTELY agree....Arnica...for the bruising, trauma & shock.....Works every time!!! Calendula lotion or cream (For cuts , sores, abrasions) is wonderful to assist the healing process. Natures goodness in the form of plant medicine....
Permalink Reply by Feather Winger on September 20, 2012 at 7:35am For those who got tattoos years back....you won´t even know that you have this trauma because it is just an everyday thing under the surface...but, if you release it you will feel better. The arnica works for some mental trauma as well as well as trauma from past injuries.....it is a good thing to take.

Permalink Reply by Phylos on September 20, 2012 at 8:30am I would never voluntarily give my opinion on tattoos unless someone asked me. I support personal freedom in all and every way, so of course I respect anyone's right to choose to tattoo themselves or otherwise mutilate their body. I realize that there are cultures like the Maori of Pacific islands or other cultures who tattoo and scarify their bodies and in these instances I understand that these practices have deep meaning and cultural significance with roots in antiquity.
Having said that, I must confess that I don't find tattoos at all attractive. Just the opposite. It seems to me to be a meaningless violation to one's body, cheapening, shallow, and generally vulgar and immature. I understand that my opinion is liable to offend some, but you asked and so, please respect my honesty as I respect your right to choose to do something to your body that tends to make me wonder if there isn't some underlying mental health issue at work. Thank you for asking and if you do choose to tattoo, I hope you never regret.
Permalink Reply by angeeh on September 20, 2012 at 9:15am as far as I know, they are not unhealth as long as you are havıng them in a proper tatoo studio...

Permalink Reply by John Jancar on September 20, 2012 at 9:25am I don't like tattoos...for me at least. My girlfriend has several tattoos...one on her thigh, her arm, she even has a half naked witch on her back lol I think it's sexy....but for me, I just don't see the need of getting a tattoo. I prefer to be, more natural. I don't know, I just wouldn't feel as mature or classy with a tattoo.
