This is negligence and disregard for a living beings life. The fact is mother earth is a living being and violations such as burying useless matter into the ground is blasphemy. Their are certain countries that do get rid of waste in professional manner, and I applaud those countries.
Well about the garbage like plastic, etc. that is being produced.....it doesn't have to be produced. There are so many alternatives to plastics. Really, there are plastic looking cups, for example and plates and utensils, etc. at your local green store now that are completely biodegradable and look and feel just like plastic. But they are actually made from corn, or some other natural fibre. So biodegradable packaging and products is really a no brainer. But PRODUCERS do not want to be responsible. They do not want to be responsible for the ENTIRE lifespan of their products---from creation, to use, to disposal. They just keep producing. Because they can. And we keep buying because that's all there is to pick from. So the cycle keeps going. There are many producers today who are at completely zero waste (in their production) and these producers should be applauded and perhaps rewarded. Here in my comunity we have made it clear that we say no to landfilling and we are working for creative solutions to our diversion problems. But the bottom line is that producers need to adhere to Expanded Producer Responsibility and then WE are not footing the bill for the garbage problem, either in terms of money and cost, or in terms of the cost to the health of our planet....and therefore ourselves....Producers are going to have to get on board and get with the new game plan very soon and be responsible for the ENTIRE lifespan of their products. We cannot go on the way we are going on. The answers are simple. We just have to take the money out of polluting and put it into green economies....sustainable economies, and therefore a sustainable planet. When we ask if there is some way to get rid of garbage, the answer is NOT TO PRODUCE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE (or if we do it must be biodegradable and go back to mother earth). So you see the big corporations are holding us hostage in so many more ways than one....THESE TECHNOLOGIES EXIST and the answers are there...actually, things are SO wrong with the way we do things that all we have to do is turn everything COMPLETELY around, do the exact opposite of what we are doing, and there we have it: a completely new game plan...lol...well anyway things can be done differently, I really think they can, and must, or what do we tell our children? I guess you can probably tell that zero waste is one of my pet projects....lol. :-)
good point... citizens keep the cycle going... but why? It is because they do not care about Gaia, which is alive just as they are. They do not love her.. This must be taught in the school systems in honor of the universe, that it is critical to honor Gaia for spiritual developement, transformation and fulfillment.
then the illusion of tree hugger is called out of confusion and ignorance.. when really, the tree speaks to them! But they are so disconnected, they can't hear it!
mother earths inner love rising, stretching to the surface connecting to the universe.
The indigenous people of S. America call the earth Pachamama....
we will clean up the mess.....it is easier than people think,,,when you work together with the nature you have the whole force of the universe working with you.
