Decoding the symbols on Satan's statue

This article is on the BBC website. This would never have been published on their website only a few years ago. They seem to be showing their true colors! There are no morals in the world any more and anything goes. Now we get to the stage where a statue of Satan is allowed in the name of being liberal. They say we can put up whatever statues we want so now they expect to be allowed to put up whatever they want. These people who worship this rock have plenty of money so you can soon expect to see these kinds of statue appearing in every town soon enough. It will be like our own little horror movie. But it is cool because everyone can do whatever they want...

A controversial statue unveiled by the Satanic Temple at a secret ceremony in Detroit has attracted protests. But who is the goat-headed figure? And what do the elements of the statue symbolise?

The bronze statue is nearly 9ft tall and depicts a winged hermaphrodite known as Baphomet, flanked by two smiling children. It cost $100,000 (£64,000) to make and hundreds of Satanists turned out to see it unveiled.

Long term, the Satanic Temple wants to move the piece 900 miles (1,450km) south-west and erect it opposite a Ten Commandments monument outside Oklahoma City's Capitol Building.

UM...dearest of the dear. You weird little soul. You amazing little human, you are so small but you can think such big thoughts, you are so small, but you can see such big things, with such an imagination you should try to find ways of responding gently and adjusting to people. When you write something, with WARNING: dont talk to me, dont write to me, keep to yourself, my opinion etc etc etc. People react to it :) When you have such a vivid imagination, you should find it easy to imagine that people would react to that. You desperatly wanted people to avoid you, but you responded to each an every "negative" reply that were thrown you're way.

Do you realize this is just internett? You can just shut your browser and none of us will exist anymore for you. You could disengage so easily. You post an image where it says "beware of false prohets". I think its very ironic, funny and beautiful. You fulfill that very same prophecy without being aware yourself. If you are sooooo affected by the replies, you disengage. Disengage woman!

As for everyone else. You love this drama, its so obvious. Clearly charlotte is important to us, since we are spending so much time (over the internett) to interact with her foolishness :) If we truly believed she was talking nonsense, we wouldn't even bother. I might bother to shock someone once or twice, but after that it will be just the ego, the love fro drama and mind games. It will be very contradicting (it does feel good though to contradict oneself, it feels cheting, it feels like the easy way) I feel charlotte just needs love, she clearly does, and she is using this way of behaviour to get her dosage of attention, it may not be in her hands......and that is OK charlotte :) Drekx on the other hand...he is a sneaky little squirrel...He is the one that deservs all this attention. It was so easy for him and Lisa to ditch Charlotte as soon as people turned on her...wowzy..:)

I engage in this drama consciously. Had nothing else to do :) Besides, my email is being spammed with all the replies, so its hard to stay away...THis is is munchies for the ego :) But as long as one is aware of it it is munchies for the soul. It will be practice, this is a great opportunity for all of us to check ourselves and to observe our ego :) Riggady check yoursef, dont wreck yourself :P

I wonder with great wonder, what you have gone through in this life. Why are you the way you are? Why am I the way I am? It does and does not matter at the same time to me...They say the mentally unstable are more sane than "sane" people...I dont know how to relate to you. Not long ago, I was looked upon by people around me, just the same way I look at you, and that is with wonder. This may be the internet, but you must be there behind a screen somewhere, with a beating heart and a genuin soul...Please answer me on my comment in your blog :)

  I know her story but is not for me to say.... What she needs to do is let go and trust that she can be loved don't have to be defensive....its strange she can drive me up the wall but I have this maternal feeling toward her and do love her on the contrary what she thinks. Maybe it's the Cherokee in me that tends to want to take care of and mother but she needs to realize no need to be boastful just be herself be love and light. A mother boast not of herself but of her creation.....

@ UM/Charlotte: I respect that. I'ts already forgotten. Yes, you continue your work with the light as long as it makes you happy. A friendly advice,do plant your feet on the ground from time to time:) It does take time for people to blossom and I do look forward to that day of rejoice with every fiber in my being. Time does start fresh every day, probably each moment. Maybe even time does not exist, that makes you even more free to start fresh when ever you want. I agree with you.
