Coconut Oil Touted as Alzheimer's Remedy
Coconut ~ The Tree of Life
Coconut is highly nutritious and rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It is classified as a "functional food" because it provides many health benefits beyond its nutritional content.
Coconut oil is of special interest because it possesses healing properties far beyond that of any other dietary oil and is extensively used in traditional medicine among Asian and Pacific populations.
Pacific Islanders consider coconut oil to be the cure for all illness. The coconut palm is so highly valued by them as both a source of food and medicine that it is called "The Tree of Life."

Coconut Oil
While coconut possesses many health benefits due to its fiber and nutritional content, it's the oil that makes it a truly remarkable food and medicine.
Once mistakenly believed to be unhealthy because of its high saturated fat content, it is now known that the fat in coconut oil is a unique and different from most all other fats and possesses many health giving properties. It is now gaining long overdue recognition as a nutritious health food.
Coconut oil has been described as "the healthiest oil on earth." That's quite a remarkable statement.

Coconuts on a tropical beach holiday would be lovely,
(it's almost winter over here) : )

Thanks for the yummy recipes : )
Raw coconut flour and coconut butter sound really good, I have to try them!
~XOX~
Here are some great recipes from one of my favorite raw vegan cookbook author, Natalia KW. I have all her books, and they are amazing. Her "Pure Pleasures Cupcake Heaven" cookbook has so many delicious recipes, especially her lemon poppy seed cupcakes. Her "baked" goods use raw coconut flour (available at whole foods, some health food stores and online), coconut oil, and sometimes coconut butter. My favorite brand for coconut oil is Nutiva (organic and cold pressed), and for raw coconut flour is Coconut Secret (http://www.coconutsecret.com/flour2.html).

..to suggest to use coconut oil with chocolate milk is like telling someone to have a barbequed burger and orange juice for a meal. 2 opposite energies. Do you know why there is chocolate milk ? to hide animals red blood in such milk. unless you use hemp or soy milk but again make sure that those are not GMO either.
~coconut milk with fried , sterilized, vaccinated, cancer prone and out of control lab hormone pumped chicken defies any logic
~fat full coconut oil with baking fat full cakes and pies spells cardiac arrest
~half of this information and recipes could make you fat and kill you fast
~the other half better be used in moderation to save your colon and digestive system from clogging that couses cancerous problems
You made some good points Assiya : )
It is best to eat raw healthy homegrown foods whenever possible, but it's quite easy to get organic coconut oil and I always use non-GE oat or rice milk instead of cow's milk.
I wouldn't personally eat most of those recipes, but added them for the many people who do eat those foods and would benefit from including coconut oil in their diet : )
~XOX~
unless one finds purely organic and eco friendly coconut farming practices, consideration to the fact that commercial production destroys wild animal habitats, environment around it and all for the profit of healing few unbelievers. Todays coconut products came from destruction of it's natural eco system. Is it really worth it ? There are so many more remedies to help heal such discrepencies such a clean, home grown or not organic , raw and uncooked veggies and fruit. Eliminate junk food, animal products, cooked foods and you'll see the benefits that heal.
amazing!
Thanks for your enthusiastic comments everyone : )
It's great to know that coconut is so popular! I've been using the oil for a while and can't get enough
(neither can my daughter who loves eating it off a spoon!) : )
~XOX~
Yep it's a miracle product for sure. It smells great, it makes your skin glow, and you can cook with it if you like. It's the go to oil if I have a choice about it. :-) gotta love it.
